Timing at open water events is not just about producing a result, it is about ensuring every swimmer is accounted for and makes it safely out of the water. Our course management dashboard supports your team in monitoring the flow of participants and identifying the swimmers that need immediate attention.
We stream your finish line live on YouTube, allowing the athletes' supporters to watch them finish even from afar. Swimmers can watch the replay of their finish. If they happened to lose their chip during the swim, they can find their finish time of day in the stream so we can enter it manually. We also use the camera to review close finishes.
Our inflatable pillars can be deployed at the start or finish line. They adapt to any width and can sustain stronger winds than a full arch. Optionally, we can get customised velcro banners printed with your event branding.
We rely on the RACE RESULT ActivePro active transponders, worn on a velcro strap at the wrist, so the timing chips can be detected by Track Boxes out on course.
We deploy Track Boxes on buoys to provide the course management team with timing data out on course. The Track Boxes detect active transponders with tracking mode activated within a 150 m radius. Additional Track Boxes deployed on the beach and in the race village also inform us of swimmers dropping out and making it safely back to shore.
